What is a non-stick cookware?
Non-stick cookware is a pan coated with non-stick coating and does not allows food to stick to the surface of pan. As a result you need minimum amount of oil to get right flavour. Also, the essential nutrients are retained and cleaning of pan is easier.

What is a Nirlep non-stick pan?
Nirlep pans are coated with PTFE (Poly Tetra Fluio Ethelone), the slipperiest material known. PTFE is so smooth, that nothing sticks to it. Nirlep pans are made with a unique process that brings about strong mechanical bonding between the PTEF layer and aluminium. At every step of manufacturing of a NIRLEP pan, strict quality control tests are performed to give its customers the very best.

    Is Nirlep non-stick coating safe for human health.
    PTFE coating used in nirlep pans is totally inert and safe. PTFE is medically safe and has been approved by health organisation all over the world for unrestricted use in cooking utensils.

    What is the first care for Nirlep non-stick products.
    Seasoning is required to be done; this ensures that the pan is totally clean and read for use. For seasoning, kindly follow this procedure- Wash the in pan in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry. Heat on low flame for 30 seconds. Smear a tablespoon of cooking oil with soft cloth on non-stick surface. Again wash the pan. Rinse and dry.

    Give us some key points of care for non-stick products?
  • Do not leave empty pan on hot burner or allow pan to boil dry.
  • For long term non-stick performance, wood or plastic utensils are recommended. Do not cut in pan or stir with sharp utensils.
  • Clean the pan thoroughly after use, using liquid soap. Cleaning powder and hard soap bars are not recommended. Also, avoid use of dishwasher.
  • Storing of food in pans is not recommended.
  • Avoid using high flame.
  • Use oil sparingly, this avoids food build - up.

    What is the method of removing white film (caused by minerals from water)
    If spotted white film appears (caused by minerals from water), clean it with sponge dipped in lemon juice or vinegar.

    It is said Nirlep pan saves fuel and oil. How?
    Please note that Nirlep pans are made of high-grade aluminium alloy, and the pans conduct heat very fast and distribute it uniformly. A saving of up to 25 % in fuel expenses. Similarly, as in a normal pan oil is used prevent food from sticking to pan surface, there is a saving of oil up to 40 %.

    How dose a food build up occur in pans and what care should be taken to avoid it.
    Food particles entrapped in pinholes of coating burn in subsequent use. New food particles stick to these burnt food particles and form a stain. Further sticking and burning of food particles in subsequent use form a thick layer of burnt food, which is called food build -up. Food build-up is usually near outer edges of pan. To avoid staining and food build up.
  • Wipe Nirlep clean with soft cotton cloth during use whenever possible and definitely after every use.
  • Use oil sparingly, this avoids food build -up.
  • Should staining occur after a few uses, it could be removed by following method. Half fill the utensil with water, add a table -spoon of bleaching powder and vinegar Heat slowly to boil for 5 to 10 minutes. Rub the stains with wooden spatula only. Remove from heat. Wash with soap water. Rinse and dry.
